Transracial Rachel Dolezal Resigns as Head of Spokane NAACP the Obvious Victim of Cis-Race Privilege

Dolezal was supposed to have a meeting with the board of the Spokane NAACP today which she cancelled. Some people balked that she didn’t have the authority to cancel it. I wonder if she already knew she was going to resign, or if she increasingly came to realize that her remaining was not tenable. Breitbart has her statement.

People need to get off Rachel’s back. She can’t help it that she is a black woman born/trapped is a white woman’s body. All her haters need to check their cis-race privilege, and stop bullying her because she is WrongSkin. Good grief! This is the year 2015. When are people going to give up their antiquated belief in DNA?

Mad Men and Matthew Weiner’s anti-WASP Ax Grinding

One reason I liked Mad Men is because it blatantly portrayed a time before political correctness took over. I recognized some of the Northeastern WASP culture subtext, but I am not familiar enough with that environment to understand all the nuance. In interviews related to the series finale, creator Matthew Weiner has been more open about how the show is an outworking of his Jewish anti-Wasp ax grinding. I mostly missed this. I recognized that the show portrayed the WASP culture as decadent, but most Hollywood portrayals of WASP culture emphasize it decadence, so I didn’t really pick up on the underlying hostility. Steve Sailer has been following this issue closely. I find this post fascinating – a seemingly out of nowhere little scene, actually has a lot of meaning and historical context related to intra-White Upper Class rivalries.

As I mention in a comment on the Sailer thread, as a middle-class Southern white boy, all this WASP and intra-WASP nuance is lost on me because it was so off my radar screen growing up. Most of my milieu was homogeneous sameness. The only exoticness that got you any street cred was if you could claim some Cherokee ancestry. I recall noting when I was a kid that people with “odd” sounding last names were usually Catholic and inevitably transplants. So when people would ask “what are you” it was always something that you had supposedly looked into based on the last names in your family tree, not something you knew intuitively.

That Weiner, a Jew from a well off California family, understands all this enough to be pathologically bitter about it, where as it is all foreign to me, a many generations deep Southern white kid, says something.

Steve Sailer Not Impressed by UVA Gang Rape Report

Steve Sailer has been on the story of the now retracted Rolling Stone gang rape article from very early on. He was one of the first to comment on the Richard Bradley blog post that got the skeptical ball rolling. It is probably fair to say that Sailer was one of the principle popularizers of the story, although the MSM will likely never admit that.

Sailer does not appear to be impressed by the Columbia School of Journalism review and the coverage of it. I have yet to read the review, but I plan to when I have some time.

See here, here and here.

Apparently, Sabrina Rubin Erdely receives some pretty harsh criticism as does Rolling Stone in the report, but per Rolling Stone she will continue to write for them. See first link. Jann Wenner, the editor and publisher of RS and/or Will Dana, the managing editor, must have a crush on SRE. What else explains them keeping her around?

It’s too bad that the report appears to focus primarily on technical failures rather than motives and the climate of PC Social Justice Warrioring that permeates so much of the mainstream (aka liberal) media these days. Erdely clearly had a narrative she wanted to reinforce with her story so she embraced Jackie’s tall tale enthusiastically and didn’t let facts or standard journalistic practices get in the way. This pattern is clearly evident in some of her other stories that have been called into question. An investigative journalist who wants to make a mark should review SRE’s whole portfolio. As I suggested before, if I was a money bags editor, I would commission Steven Glass to write that article if he was willing. Who better to recognize story telling when he sees it.

Pat Buchanan Schools Sean Hannity on Iran

Watch the video linked here. It also has a transcript.

PAT BUCHANAN: Listen to the American head of intelligence. He says Iran does not have a bomb program as of 2013. Secondly if they start building a bomb, we will know it. Third, Iran has made some concessions there are not enough that makes them less able to go –

SEAN HANNITY: Go back to 2012 when we found out they were far more advanced in the nuclear production and program than we ever thought was possible. That’s what Obama’s own government said.

PAT BUCHANAN: You’re friend Bibi’s been talking about Iran getting a bomb since 1992. In 2006 he said they’ll be building 25 bombs by the end of the decade. Are they? No.

Who Knew Arnold Schwarzenegger Was a PC Butt Kissing Girlie Man?

The “Terminator” star and former California governor blasted the state’s recently passed Religious Freedom Restoration Act on Friday, declaring,”As a Republican, I’m furious.”

In a no-holds-barred op-ed for the Washington Post, Schwarzenegger — who wrote that he “became a proud Republican before I even understood English” — goes against the beliefs that drew him to the party.

See more here…

Looks like Arnold needs to go back on the ‘roids because he is clearly suffering from a lack of testosterone and the weakening of his spinal cord. What else could explain a once proud manly man like Arnold prostrating himself so readily before the PC thought police? What a wuss.

NASCAR Goes PC Over Indiana Law

This is some pathetic PC caving. Issuing a preemptive statement condemning a perfectly legit law. In fact, this law should be a no brainer.

NASCAR is disappointed by the recent legislation passed in Indiana. We will not embrace nor participate in exclusion or intolerance. We are committed to diversity and inclusion within our sport and therefore will continue to welcome all competitors and fans at our events in the state of Indiana and anywhere else we race.

Hopefully this will tick off NASCAR’s Red State base. If NASCAR IS disappointed with Indiana, hopefully NASCAR’s fans will be disappointed with it for it’s absolutely craven PC behavior.
