Caitlyn Jenner is born a man, declares himself female.
Rachel Dolezal is born white, declares herself black, becomes the president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP, and witnesses doubtful racial-hate attacks (multiple).

Khaliela Wright (unknown Disqus commenter) writes in defence of Dolezal:
The color of your skin and your heritage have nothing to do with the question, “What race do you consider yourself to be?”
Both of my parents list their race as Caucasian, yet I stopped identifying as “white” years ago. I am not lying when I tell people that I am not white, because I don’t identify as white and I certainly don’t get treated like I’m white.
One can seemingly be Amerindian if only 1/16th, but is Pastor Jeremiah Wright even 1/16th black? Rachel Dolezal seems to be pushing for 0/16th as qualifying.
It’s a reverse-one-drop-rule…

The answer will clearly be on her original birth certificate……………..However, I have relative with a misunderstood BC, which claims Hispanic? (Think of the additional benefits?)

Oh, there’s no misunderstanding. Her parents are quoted in the article.
The woman is very small part Amerindian. That’s it.
