Et Tu, Wal-Mart?

Wal-Mart has come out against Arkansas’ new religious freedom bill. Guess I’ll be doing a lot more shopping at the Dollar General. Why can’t these corporations and other entities (like NASCAR) just shut up and mind their own business? Sam Walton is likely rolling in his grave. I don’t know if Sam Walton was a personally pious man, but he was no lib.

Wal-Mart’s products are mostly made in China and have been made-in-China for many years.

When have corporations ever been on our side? We always just pretended they were conservative.

Ah. I did not know that. Well, he’s been dead since 1992 apparently.

And I don’t know that Wal-Mart could compete without selling Chinese goods. It has been struggling since raising wages recently, as has McDonalds. Every cost is significant.

Regardless, I shop either online or at small local stores, when I can.

Be it Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Target, etc, all should be reined into past laws. Real tariff laws of the past did that. Multinational Corporations with no National Loyalty have been a curse on America.
