Justin Raimondo is ticked at Rand Paul for signing the Tom Cotton letter to Iran. He calls it Rand Paul’s Munich, and appears to be withdrawing his support of Rand Paul’s presidential bid. It’s pretty harsh stuff.
The only way I would differ with Raimondo is that I don’t view this one move as the definitive act of betrayal. As someone who was never fully on the Rand train and have been off for a while, it strikes me as just one more act in a long line of concessions. I’m not sure why the Cotton letter is worse than signing onto the Cooker bill, for example.
