J. Arthur Bloom is generally considered paleo friendly, so this is likely a welcome development.
But didn’t FPR just change editors fairly recently? I’m pretty sure we covered that at the pre-crash site, but I don’t recall the details.
Any intel would be appreciated. Thanks.
Here is Bloom’s Facebook post about the matter:
Very excited to announce I’ll be joining Front Porch Republic as managing editor, a site I’ve been a fan of for a long time. I’ll be helping them expand their reach, find new writers, and edit one of the most exciting places on the web for dissident conservatism. Go check ’em out, and get in touch if you’d like to submit something.
Nothing else has changed, I’ll continue at The Daily Caller as well.
This may be about generating page views at FPR and turning it into a revenue generator, or at least self-supporting. I don’t know this, but it’s a guess.
Update: Just sniffing around a little, I think there is a distinction here between Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief. Jeffrey Polet remains the Editor-in-Chief.
Update II: Here is the story on Polet taking over as Editor-in-Chief. It is from Oct 14, so my memory was not serving me wrong.
