Christian College Criticized for Acting Christian

A Christian college in Massachusetts (figures) is being criticized for having a policy that upholds traditional Christian and explicitly Biblical moral norms. And the school President who got them in this hot water, is now acting like a wuss. When the Devil’s thought police come calling, you can’t waffle. You can’t hem and haw. You have to boldly and unapologetically tell them that you believe what you believe and if they don’t like it that’s too bad, but you won’t compromise. Think Daniel. Think Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And in this case, remind them that if they have a problem with the Bible they should take it up with the Author.

“Among its peers in Christian higher education, Gordon sits on the liberal end of the spectrum. The college upholds the Bible as the authoritative word of God while providing the “freedom to offer constructive criticism of this tradition.” Evolution is taught in the science program. ”

Yep. It’s only a matter of time before they cave in and make even more concessions to the god they actually serve: cultural Marxism. You can tell by reading the article that this Michael Lindsay fellow is ready to fold just as soon as he thinks he can get away with it.

It’s positive to be wary, to question everything: except for one’s religious foundation.

It’s popular to tear down Western Civilisation. I don’t think there’s a popular alternative to replace it. People just believe that if they tear it all down, something better will arise.

… What utopia could arise without the belief that man has an immortal soul, I wonder? At the very least, we need that component for sanity and order.

Was it Voltaire?………..Somebody was sent by the King Of France to study the abnormally fast growth of the United States. After years in the US, he returned and told the King, “America is great because America is good. However, when they cease to be good, they will cease to be great.” (I paraphrased.)

    So true.
